Atari's
Greatest Hits is a discontinued product.
Click to learn more...
As iOS and the Android operating
systems continued to evolve over the years, Atari's Greatest
Hits ceased to be compatible with newer releases of these
OSes. Atari chose not to have us continue maintenance of the app,
and instead decided to remove it from the respective mobile
marketplaces. Though we were disappointed with their decision, as
they are the owners and sellers of Atari's Greatest Hits
and all the games within, the decision was entirely theirs to
make.
Like you, we were sad to see this app discontinued.
Unfortunately, as we're no longer being engaged by Atari to
maintain it, we are unable to restore it to the respective App
Stores, nor make the adjustments necessary to get them
operational on modern OSes. The good news is, if you already have
Atari's Greatest Hits installed on your device, you will
still be able to use it. If it's not installed, read on...
iOS Users:
You may be able to re-install it on some iOS
devices by going to App Store > Account >
Purchased and re-downloading it, provided you are signed
in with the account that made the original purchase. However, Atari's
Greatest Hits retrieved critical components of your in-app
purchases (e.g. instructions, graphics) from Atari's servers.
Should Atari discontinue that server, attempting to reload games
purchased in-app will fail.
(Checking
the status of the server for you now. Please wait...)
Android Users:
Unfortunately, if the app is removed and re-installed, it will
no longer operate as it uses an old method of verifying your
purchases that is no longer supported by Google.
Take
them everywhere! Atari's Greatest Hits brings the stand
out games of video game history to your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch

FAQs and Troubleshooting:
- The app crashes when I try to launch it on my
Android device! If you are running Android
OS 5 ("Lollipop") or later, there are
changes to the operating system that are not compatible
with many older apps. For this reason, a new version
called Atari's Greatest Hits ReMaster has
been published in the Google Play Store. You can migrate
your purchases to this new version by following the steps
here.
- Can I buy it once and play on both my iPad and
iPhone? Yes. You will be prompted to Restore
Purchases on the second device, but you will only need to
pay once.
- I bought the games but they won't download! Atari's
Greatest Hits downloads the content after purchase.
This is done outside the App Store. We have heard reports
of some firewalls (e.g. child-safe content filters) that
will block access to the Atari content servers. To
resolve this, either (a) check your firewall's logs and
whitelist Atari's server or (b) attempt to download the
content outside the firewall. If needed, you can reset
the App by removing and reinstalling it. You will still
be able to access your purchases.
- Why is Pong broken? It's not. Atari's
Greatest Hits includes a painstakingly accurate
recreation of the original 1972 arcade rendition of Pong,
including all its quirks. Among the authentic quirks
we've reproduced is the inability for the paddles to
reach the top and bottom corners. If you prefer, you can
forego authenticity and get full coverage by changing the
"Gap at Corners" option to "No" under
the game's Settings.
- The games are in a small window on my iPad!
If you are still using iOS version 3.2 on your iPad, you
may find the games do not fill the screen properly. This
has been resolved in Version 1.1 or our App. Download the
update from the App Store. A similar problem exists with
the 1st generation iPhones, and has also been
resolved in Version 1.1.
We're constantly working to make this App better. If you have
a question or comment not addressed above, please feel free to
send us feedback.
