An update for iOS 11+ and
Android users:
As has been publicised, with iOS
11, Apple discontinued support for 32-bit apps, of which of which
Activision Anthology was one. Though we too would love
to see this game live on as a 64-bit iOS 11 app, unfortunately,
updating the app is not up to us. It was created under contract
for Activision.
As publisher, they are the only ones who can issue updates.
Similarly, Activision Anthology on Android
relied on in-app purchases to deliver the games. This mechanism
was revamped by Google some years ago, and Activision chose not
to have us update the app to keep up with these changes.
As it stands, we have not been approached to assist them in
this, and we have received no response to our inquiries. We were
quite proud of Activision Anthology and share your
disappointment in its demise.
