The Last Blade Beyond Destiny (Switch) is lacking several features

The Neo Geo Pocket Color title "The Last Blade - Beyond Destiny" on Nintendo Switch (standalone release) is lacking several features present on recent ports from NGPC Selection lineup, such as L/R buttons for rewind, rewind toggle on/off and Pixel-perfect scaling when holding A+Right Stick.

Is it possible to patch those features in this specific game to make it match the latest ports? Thanks in advance!

Still no news on that? It's been a while...

Any updates would be at SNK's discretion.

How would that be on SNK's end? You guys are the developers, the game is lacking a couple of small adjustments that were applied to other NGPC releases through updates, and SHOULD have been addressed in this product as well... but are unexpectedly missing for whatever reason?

We are the developers, not the IP owners nor publishers. We have no authority with Nintendo to update the product, except at SNK's request as the publisher of record.

So the issue can't even be taken to them when coming from a customer support forum? It's all about the emulator/UI built by Code Mystics.

We didn't say that. :) This request has come up before in our Feedback forum, a couple years ago. (This thread should rightly be there too.) We did inform SNK of the request.

Also, to clarify, they were applied only to one product as an update shortly after its release, and carried forward to subsequent new releases after that. SNK did not have us apply it to any prior products otherwise. In the case of patched product, the feature was applied because an update was required for a bug fix and we "snuck it in" so to speak because we were given the opportunity to update it for other reasons.

That's disappointing to say the least. I know there are technical and/or legal reasons for that, but it's a headache for anyone who spent $8 on a product just to find out (months later) it cannot be patched.

Thank you for the response.
