I've had my iPad 2 and iCade since the iCade originally came out. I've basically kept the old iPad just to play Atari Greatest Hits. It's on iOS 9.3.5, the latest version for that model. Until recently it worked fine.
Recently, the iPad booted to the Hello new device screen and I had to wipe it to restore it. I didn't have a backup. I was able to re-download the Atari app and run it, but as soon as I chose to Restore Purchases, the app crashed. Now it won't get past the Atari logo. I've force-closed it, I've rebooted, I've deleted and redownloaded the app, it still crashes at the Atari logo. Turning off wifi doesn't help. Is there anything else I can do?

Regrettably, Atari discountinued support for AGH quite some time ago. This means that certain online elements it may need to initialise are no longer available. Presuming the operating system didn't update, you could try putting the iPad in Airplane Mode (no Internet) to see if it proceeds into the menu.
