We have a nba jam here at the house. No connection issues On this machine. We have run it on both the house wifi and cellphone hotspot. No issues with either.
Son just went to college and we purchased one for him to have there. School provided wifi times out before ever allowing him to log on. He is also unable to gain connection through his cellphone’s hotspot. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Unfortunately mobile hotspots typically have restrictive security that does not support the kind of connection NBA Jam needs. They are not officially supported.
We're uncertain what you mean by "log on" though. Can you provide more details please? e.g. specific error message text and where it appeared?
