King of Fighters '97 Global Match Graphic Glitch

Post by 1030xxx »

The PSV version of has this graphic glitch:

The gameplay display screen was not showed in fullscreen under 'Stretch' display mode, you can see two black bars on both left and right hand side on PSV's screen and the left black bar is slightly thinner than the right one.

If you change the display mode to 'large' with frame art on, you can clearly see there are two black bars between the frame art area and the gameplay screen. This issue did not happen in previous SNK game you guys did ported like SS V SP, LB 2 and Garou.

Please fix this graphic issue ASAP.

(p.s. Can you guys add practice mode to King of Fighters '97 Global Match?)

This is intentional. That blank area is the original game's screen, though it drew "garbage" there, which we were asked to blank out. There are circumstances where that space would not be blanked and so it needs to be there.

Thanks a lot for answering me.

If this was intentional, is there a way to get rid of those blank areas with a patch? Because LB 2, SSV:S and Garou: Mark of the wolf does not have those blank areas.

Btw, hope we could see KOF 2000 being ported to PSV (PS4 already got it) or maybe KOF 98? I think KOF 2000 would be more easily to be ported to PSV because there was already a PS4 version ported by your studio.
