Re: Leaderboard Glitch

It appears the ROM's record keeping indeed breaks down after 999 games. They appear never to have anticipated you.

Re: Leaderboard Glitch

There appear to be limitations in the original arcade ROM's record keeping beyond 999 games. We will examine it in case anything can be done.

Re: Leaderboard Glitch

The Best Overall board updates with whatever profile you last played, since your Best Overall ranking can increase or decrease. The same is true of Greatest Players.

Re: MDOC Marc Williams code

Since you obviously have access to the source code and he's already in the game why don't you update the code to the 2099 that it's supposed to be? You guys haven't done an update since February and it would show players/people that you are still updating the game. We figured more players would hav...

Re: Problems Configuring Micro Center's Atari Dual Fight Stick and Trackball USB with Steam and Atari Vault

Do you mean the shooter follows the cursor with lag? This is intentional. These are emulations and as such the game will not violate the capped travel speed of the shooter for the original ROM, no matter how fast you move your Windows cursor. That said, in the Options > Control configuration screen ...

Re: MDOC Marc Williams code

The Arcade1Up cabinet is an emulation, which means it's running the arcade ROM. Save for the possibility that the source code was not of the same final release version, they are the same. With that said, we have no knowledge of the original source code operation. Still NUL suggests an unenterable nu...

Re: NBA HANGTIME SAID LOST CONNECTION AND GAVE ME PENALTY....AGAIN

It can be changed. But it is correct as-is according to Arcade1Up's specification. But again you may not be understanding this correctly. The server going down is not enough, by itself, to result in a penalty. And if the server were down you wouldn't be able to join games in the first place. (But up...

Re: NBA HANGTIME SAID LOST CONNECTION AND GAVE ME PENALTY....AGAIN

If that is the case then I would have losses everyday. Dropped games happens regularly, about 15 to 20 times daily when I play people online. And if you don't believe me, not saying that you don't, poll the players yourself. I can show you tons of YouTube videos of people stating games drop all the...

Re: NBA HANGTIME SAID LOST CONNECTION AND GAVE ME PENALTY....AGAIN

No changes have been requested nor made to the penalty system. If your connectivity to both the opponent and the server is severed, we are told to consider it a loss. This may not require your modem to go offline. It could happen "upstream" at your ISP.

This is not a bug. We're not sure what prior bug you were referring to that is now fixed.
